1988年3月、東京大学法学部卒業。1988年4月、安田火災海上保険株式会社（現 損害保険ジャパン日本興亜株式会社）入社。1994年5月、厚生省（現 厚生労働省）出向。1996年5月、安田火災海上保険株式会社復職。2000年3月、同社退職。2003年10月、司法修習（56期）を経て当事務所入所。2011年1月、当事務所パートナー就任。
論稿に「Insurance & Reinsurance 2016 (Japan Chapter) 」（The International Comparative Legal Guide、2016年2月）、「Insurance & Reinsurance Law & Regulation (first edition 2014) (Japan Chapter)」（European Lawyer Reference、2014年10月）、「Insurance & Reinsurance (first edition 2012) (Japan Chapter)」（European Lawyer Reference ）がある。
